SAFETY AND MAINTENANCE
All our coaches are equipped with the latest safety technology.
- Electronic braking system (EBS), with antilock and anti-skid functions.
- Anti-roll and anti-distortion system.
- Seats with safety fixings according to security standard R80.
- Control and detection systems to ensure correct driving periods.
- 2-point and 3-point safety belts.
- “Alcolock” system. A system that prevents a driver who has consumed alcohol from starting the vehicle.
- Driver fatigue alert system. A system that records driver behaviour and the position of the bus in the lane. If the driver loses concentration, the system produces audible signals.
- Dynamic steering. Technology that improves responsiveness and steering accuracy, reducing strain on the driver’s shoulders, neck and arms.
- Collision Warning Emergency Braking system (CWEB). If there is danger of imminent collision, the driver receives visual and audible warnings. If the driver does not respond, the system proceeds to brake the vehicle.
- Lane Keeping Support System (LKS). A system that alerts the driver if the coach is about to cross a lane dividing line.
- I-Coaching. System that offers immediate information on driving parameters, helping the driver to drive with greater safety and fuel efficiency.
- Low speed active zones. Coaches always maintain speed limits around sensitive areas such as schools, bus stops and urban areas.
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). System that automatically maintains a fixed distance from the vehicle in front.
- Pedestrian and cyclist detection system
- Electronic Stability Programme (ESP). Driver assistance system in critical driving situations such as skidding or impending rollovers when driving too fast around corners.
